The Polaris RZR 570 surprised us at the beginning of our trip last summer. We were more than impressed with the output power of a single cylinder engine. More than a year ago, one model at a time, start Polaris RZR and RANGER to transfer the entire lineup into a new engine platform designed specifically for Side x Side. The new engine promises more power and improved reliability, and including, the unique modular transmission. Everything about the engine and transmission are designed for loads of Side x Side and efficient transfer of power to the ground. We also liked how the tasks are considered routine maintenance as well, and it’s easy to access the oil filter, a big dip stick on the right side of the motor, and the air filter. Both CVT air intake and air filter located high in the chassis that should help them breathe clean air and avoid sucking water. A flat, automotive-style pleated filter is located just below the rear cargo deck, and Electronic Fuel Injection making easy starting at any temperature. EFI also help the engine run cleaner and fresh while sipping fuel at a rate that will make hybrid jealous. With many ATV offers a larger engine, though, we wonder how the 570cc bike will do and continue in chassis Side x Side; only time will tell in the hearing. Instead of a quick day on the road or a hill, we tested the new RZR 570 in any riding conditions for the entire year. With 1000 miles in our RZR 570, here is what we have learned.
Up Conditions: We operated Polaris RZR 570 in normal road conditions including sand, muddy roads, big hills, and snow. The RZR 570 is also used to transport the bait to hunt bears, and to carry out the whitetail taken during hunting season. Typical operation is the RPM range varies, and riders ranged from medium to experts, both men and women.
Engine: After an oil change, break-in early, we did the next oil change as directed by the manual, and the PURE Polaris brand oil and filter. We do not overwork the machine for a long time, or submerged engine above each intake open. At 1,000 miles, the ProStar 570 engine does not burn any oil and appeared clean every time is checked.
If normal conditions you are very dusty, hot, or consistently work the motor with a heavy load, you should change more often. We will also change the oil after every deep-water crossings may have allowed water into the motor. We have used CAR-1 fully synthetic in the past with very good results.
Air Filter: The air filter is the first line of defense to protect your engine and, depending on circumstances, it may require the service after each trip. We often drove Polaris RZR 570 EPS with no other vehicles around the dust is limited, but we found one feature interfere with the air filter system.
We like the flat, pleated filter, but when taking the lid off and remove the filter, it is very easy to have any crud on the bottom side of the deck lid immediately fall air intake tube. Suspension: We fat all supplies regularly with high-quality, lithium based grease. We also used some of the oil to penetrate both the shock and pivot bushing to keep them from squeaking, and prevent wear and tear. With RZR 570 is supported on jacks and not heavy on the suspension, we can feel very little movement in the rear control arm bushing, but has not gotten worse, and probably still within tolerance.
