As we mentioned earlier, it takes more than just a large amount of horsepower to be successful, and a suspension to harness that power is one of the keys to success. Just to be clear, this 2019 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition is a 1,000 (925cc) turbocharged fuel (925cc) XP 1000 (925cc) like any other RZR and gears that run the same except for a slight weight gain of around £ 21 or more. This unit does have a full Ride Command dashboard and also a little dash or two silver graphics. The new Dynamix Active Suspension is the key technology here, and this is a big divide from other RZR packages.
This is a true collaboration, because FOX builds a surprise and Polaris designs and develops operating control software. It operates through seven main inputs that transfer information such as the steering angle and throttle applications to the onboard computer. This computer will then decipher this information at a speed of about 200 times per second. The information culminates in a short form on the Dynamix Visualizer Ride Command screen so the driver can see how this system affects travel. The three settings controlled by the driver are Comfort, Sport and Firm. As we leave the base, we prepare the car in comfort mode on the dashboard switch. This gives the rider a bit more relaxed ease, softening the suspension for driving speed or common battlefield. Keep monitoring the trip is an onboard computer and will interact with the required shock even in these first three modes.
If the suspension is really low but the lump is good at higher speeds, it may be a stone or an elevated center on the path. It was not too far down the road that we thought we would try the company setting because the walkway was a bit rough and the speed also increased a bit. Remember that we made this change from the driver’s seat through a switch on the dashboard without stopping on the path altogether.
This arrangement really looks as it gets stiff at an angle that effectively controls body roll as well. The benefits of this setting were found in one particular event as we experienced an increase in the track at a speed just to know that the traces had become nonsense in front of us. At a height of 50mph with a little dust with feet on the floor, it is a moment “standing on it and praying”. As quickly as we can form the thought “this man should be very painful,” we can know that shocks shock us and we are still grateful. That’s not fun but it could have been much worse without the controller adjusting the shocks in seconds for us. After taking a day trip, I found that for our rather limited travel speed during guided adventure and also the comfort I wanted, the Sport setting worked well for me.
Those words made me avoid my feelings about this system so far.
