2019 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition Review – Polaris RZR creates a recreation side-by-side (SxS) category and continues to be the No. 1 brand. 1 by providing the best combination of strength, suspension and agility. For the Model of the Year 2018, Polaris takes the comprehensive RZR range to the next level, If you look at the latest record of the high speed improvements and suspension engine SxS suspensions offered today, tremendous trends may stand out as a horsepower upgrade. There is a time and place to gain strength and although we all usually miss more, one company has begun to struggle to take advantage of high-powered handling side by side.

They want to make sure all of that power can be controlled by the driver, helping build confidence all the time. Polaris has had a team of engineers working over two years to make surprising adjustments and control less discomfort and more direct and simple functions controlled by your owner, driving your journey.

The new 2019 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition model comes with smart computers and FOX special wake-up surprises that will not only create a better ride but also better overall handling of the vehicle. We had the opportunity to get to know this system in the Mojave Desert beyond Primm, Nevada on a hot, dry day. Luckily, with the wind flowing through the cabin, we can focus on the latest engineering marvels and nothing happens between rough terrain and us.

2019 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition – System

As we mentioned earlier, it takes more than just a large amount of horsepower to be successful, and a suspension to harness that power is one of the keys to success. The Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition feature internal Fox Podium bypass shocks that Polaris claims provide the right ride and handling. With the front body behind 3 inches and 2.5 inches front, and an adjustable remote reservoir with increased fluid capacity, these shocks are claimed to dissipate better heat to fight fading.

The Polaris RZR platform has established the backbone of the high performing UTV leisure and racing industry. Much of that popularity is due to the handling and prowess of the RZR exhibition suspension. In addition to premium suspension components, Polaris adds a front stabilizer panel and stabilizes the stabilizer sticker back so that the car can be cornered properly. Steering is also faster with standard power steering, steering 1.5-turn steering.

That being said, the RZR XP platform does not bend and I think it’s wise for Polaris to introduce a Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition suspension system before redesigning the complete chassis so that the technology can mature with a stable RZR XP platform. RZR DYNAMIX is the world’s first intelligent suspension system designed specifically for off-road. The system includes advanced sensors that continuously monitor seven vehicle inputs to make adjustments – 200 times per second – to optimize travel. Whether the vehicle cornering, braking, accelerating, at speed or air, the system adjusts the suspension to get the best response to the input and current driving field. This continuous change gives the driver a more comfortable and more confident driving experience. RZR DYNAMIX is available exclusively on premium, two-seat RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition. This vehicle also features RIDE COMMAND 7 “screen with rear camera.

2019 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition – Features

Just to be clear, this 2019 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition is a 1,000 (925cc) turbocharged fuel (925cc) XP 1000 (925cc) like any other RZR and gears that run the same except for a slight weight gain of around £ 21 or more. This unit does have a full Ride Command dashboard and also a little dash or two silver graphics. The new Dynamix Active Suspension is the key technology here, and this is a big divide from other RZR packages.

This is a true collaboration, because FOX builds a surprise and Polaris designs and develops operating control software. It operates through seven main inputs that transfer information such as the steering angle and throttle applications to the onboard computer. This computer will then decipher this information at a speed of about 200 times per second. The information culminates in a short form on the Dynamix Visualizer Ride Command screen so the driver can see how this system affects travel. On the Dynamix Ride Command screen you will see information such as the steering position as well as the firmness on each wheel shown on the screen. As for real-time rider input, there are only three options that allow the driver to replace the engine suspension to match the style and driving conditions.

This does not allow total control for the driver but this gives you a preset shock position that adapts to the path or your style a bit more. When you think of this system only this; Polaris basically designed these new tools and software to regulate fluid control through shock.

The three settings controlled by the driver are Comfort, Sport and Firm. As we leave the base, we prepare the car in comfort mode on the dashboard switch. This gives the rider a bit more relaxed ease, softening the suspension for driving speed or common battlefield. Keep monitoring the trip is an onboard computer and will interact with the required shock even in these first three modes.

If the suspension is really low but the lump is good at higher speeds, it may be a stone or an elevated center on the path. It was not too far down the road that we thought we would try the company setting because the walkway was a bit rough and the speed also increased a bit. Remember that we made this change from the driver’s seat through a switch on the dashboard without stopping on the path altogether.

This arrangement really looks as it gets stiff at an angle that effectively controls body roll as well. The benefits of this setting were found in one particular event as we experienced an increase in the track at a speed just to know that the traces had become nonsense in front of us. At a height of 50mph with a little dust with feet on the floor, it is a moment “standing on it and praying”. As quickly as we can form the thought “this man should be very painful,” we can know that shocks shock us and we are still grateful. That’s not fun but it could have been much worse without the controller adjusting the shocks in seconds for us. After taking a day trip, I found that for our rather limited travel speed during guided adventure and also the comfort I wanted, the Sport setting worked well for me.

Those words made me avoid my feelings about this system so far. I can say that this single progress will start forever changing the way we look at suspensions in the Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS DYNAMIX Edition Review industry. I’m also not sure how consumers can relate to this, as most have never touched their suspension period, much less with a system that controls almost all of its aspects.

Attack an outer corner and outer shock to reduce body rolls, keeping it cool to taste. DINAMIX is even smart enough to retune when you fight the steer.
DINAMIX stiffens all shocks as speed increases. You can either lock it from a dead socket or throttle out of the corner and rear shocks to maximize HP as you skyrocket forward.
Bring to the air with confidence as DYNAMIX adjusts all 4 shocks to maximum resistance so you are not backward when you finally come back down to Earth.
Tap the brakes and DYNAMIX immediately amplifies the front shocks to minimize diving and maximize travel to avoid bottoming out. Especially effective when the foot stomps suddenly.
More luxurious than any other travel in the industry. Designed to get around and eliminate small chats.
The final blend of performance and comfort for high-speed handling. Compared with Comfort, everything is improved for more responsiveness and performance.
Beat all four shocks at maximum stiffness for the fastest suspension in the industry. Designed to face extreme and uncomfortable terrain.
