2018 Polaris 600 PRO RMK 155 Review – Polaris snowmobile is the lightest sled on the mountain. The Polaris rail line is always light and rigid, and Polaris has added strength and durability while reducing weight on the RMK AXYS® platform. Polaris uses design optimization software to analyze load and voltage points for various snowmobile systems and components that allow teams to design lightweight but durable snowmobile. Providing riders with an instant lift, the Polaris sled helps the rider ride on the snow faster because of its lighter weight, increasing power from 800 H.O. Cleanfire® Engine, exclusive Polaris track design and upgraded chassis. One-piece, lightly forged (about 1.5 lbs lighter) while providing optimum power. Forging is widely used and proven through the automotive industry.

This design reduces the unsprung mass leading to better driving quality and increased maneuverability. The running Board of PowderTrac has been developed to clear maximum snow and maximum strength. Built from extruded aluminum with jagged lugs, they have over 50% open areas and integrated traction equipped with definite foot performance. There is now additional open space on the back of the board with the rear pads to reduce the snow.

2018 Polaris 600 PRO RMK 155 – Engine

This 2018 Polaris 600 PRO RMK 155 with liquid-cooled Cleanfire® engine with semi-direct injection (SDI) injection provides exceptional throttle response and instant acceleration. These powerful and efficient engines start easily and reliably and they calibrate automatically during temperature and elevation changes. This machine provides impressive fuel savings in real world riding situations, which are for Polaris riders, aggressive, ride up, not low lab conditions. On the AXYS® chassis, this 600 machine features lightly integrated mounts, electronic oil pumps and bypass thermostats.

The electronic oil pump eliminates the robber drive gear-and provides more precise and better oil delivery for performance and durability as well as a 35% reduction in throttle effort. No adjustments required. The Low Inertial QuickDrive ™ system is designed to make faster turn swoop turns for lifting and reducing rotation inertia by 21% for easier handling and flickability. Not just a seat belt, this is a complete lightweight drive system – equipped with an extruded drive shaft. , lightweight brakes, Polaris 600 PRO RMK 155 -specific brake calipers and of course the most visible parts of a maintenance-free belt drive system that does not require an oil or tensioner system. The complete system reduces the rotational inertia of 21% which means 5lb. less effort while carving.

AXYS RMK features a patented and enhanced chassis that increases the distance and reduces the obstacles to keep you in the snow. The AXYS RMK chassis, a destination built for horse riding in the mountains, allows for side cooling, faster and easier climbing, and a momentary boost that allows the sled to descend into the snow faster. The aluminum foil is light and durable for all riding types. Higher spindles increase clearance to reduce drag.

The lightweight and lightweight rear suspension design has a revised geometry for pitch control. This improves weight transfer, provides better control and more appropriate travel. Rigid suspension provides direct power to the snow. Off-trail, the rider will see an increase in weight transfer while maintaining the angle of approach. On-Trail, the riders will see a more obedient and comfortable ride. The rear suspension has a rail design that helps lift the rear slip while driving it forward.

2018 Polaris 600 PRO RMK 155 comes standard with Walker Evans® Monotube Shocks. During SnowCheck, there is a premium Walker Evans® Piggyback Clicker Shocks or Walker Evans® Monotube Shocks option. The Walker Evans® Piggyback Clicker Shocks with remote compression and reservoir adjusters offer the best performance in the broadest range of conditions. The Walker Evans® Monotube Impact-Extruded Shocks are a mild surprise choice from Polaris for motorists who count ounces. One piece design, simple lightweight yet durable.
